Business/Committee Reports:

  1. Partners for Youth: Leif Hansen made a presentation addressing the YMCA’s annual fundraising drive for their Partners for Youth program. This annual drive raises a significant portion of the $1.5 million in scholarships the Tacoma YMCA provides. 100% of the funds raised at the local branch level will go directly to financial aid for campers. Just $60 will cover the cost of camp for one child to attend a day of camp. A $400 donation will allow a camper to attend a full week program. For more info, contact Leif at Camp Seymour. 253-460-8884.  www.campseymour.org
  2. Marketing: The committee is awaiting bids from potential website designers and providers.
