Meeting called to order at 7:30am by Jud Morris
Present: Barb Heard, Scott Gallacher, Todd Rosenbach, Ed Robison, Jud Morris, Rosina Vertz, Charles Ellis, Dick Kelly, Nancy Carr, Marion Sharp, Danna Webster and Frank Grubaugh.

Additions made to the agenda, It was MSC to approve the agenda.
Secretary’s Report:
It was MSC to approve the minutes from Feb. 2, 2018 as presented.
Treasurer’s Report:
Ed reported total cash on hand of $14,128.59. *See current treasurer’s report attached. It was MSC to approve the report as presented.
Association Business:
The Mustard Seed Project
Marion Sharp introduced herself as the Development Manager and requested financial support for their upcoming major fundraising event.
*See attached sponsorship request letter. Members will discuss at the April business meeting.
Gateway Park-Splash Pad
Scott requested a written letter of support from the KPBA for a state funded grant the park is applying for, It was MSC-Jud will write letter.
Scholarship Discussion (Annual Dinner Income)
Discussion on increasing 2018 scholarship awards to $3,000, dependent on income from annual dinner Silent ($2,510) & Dessert ($1,045) Auctions. Motion made & withdrawn to increase scholarships to $3,000, and holding $600 for 2019 scholarships. It was MSC to increase the 2018 scholarship award funds to $3,000, with the remainder to be discussed at a future meeting.
2018 Brochures
Two complaints: KP Bus Connects thought they were omitted, but they were not. Ravensara did not think their corresponding location number was correctly located on the map and asked for a reprint. Discussion ensued. Members chose not to reprint the brochures.
Livable Community Fair – May 5
Bring your business materials for the table. Volunteers needed to staff our table.
Road Clean – April 7 – Saturday
Home Park 8:00 a.m. Breakfast after at lulu’s Homeport.
Website Update
Charles reported the website is developed through a program (GoDaddy) that he is not familiar with, and a redo could cost $1500 with a complete redesign. Discussion ensued on needing a budget review next meeting, website committee needed for redesign suggestions, and Nancy will meet with Charles after next week to discuss her experience with the UC redesigned website.
Individual Reports:
Scott, KP Parks – PT seasonal positions still open. Dedication for Gateway Pavilion coming, Pet Easter Treat Hunt is March 24.
Marion, TMSP – Volunteer coordinator needed.
Nancy, UC – Suds & Spuds is March 17. Memorial Day Dance and Super Sale is coming.
Frank, Fire Dept – Two recruits in training are at the top of their class.
Jud, CHS – Received a $36,000 check from Peninsula Subaru for their childrens’ programs.
Danna, KP Comm Council – Will be discussing the upcoming school levy at the March meeting.
Rosina, KC library – On day 2 of retirement! Toastmasters continues to gain members.
