Old Business

Brochure Committee Updates: Per Scott, Sir Speedy (Tacoma) can print brochures next Wednesday. Motion approved to accept bid of $1400 + tax (5000 ea) for printing costs. A larger brochure is planned for the future.

Auction Committee Update: Per Rosina, donations are coming in, while more are welcome. There is interesting artwork being donated by Angel Guild.

Dessert Auction: Per Barb, three more dessert items are needed for the expected 12 tables. Consider providing that special dessert (purchase or bake yourself) that will have donations “flying off the table” for that first dessert pick. Very exciting!

Parks Dept. Presentation Discussion: Per Scott, numerous KP Parks sponsorship opportunities exist ranging from single donations to ongoing commitments. Some opportunities include: 4th of July Hot Dog Social, exercise equipment, benches at Gateway. The question is how does the KPBA want to be represented, and to determine the parameters of keeping our nonprofit status with potential sponsorships. Voting will take place at the February business meeting.

Upcoming Committee for Updates to the Bylaws and Donation Policies: Will wait to organize until after the KPBA Dinner.
